Part Time Caseworker (Hate Crime and Discrimination Service) – 21 hours

Location: Bristol

Hours: 21 per week (to include Wednesday and Friday)

Salary: NJC pt. 7- pt. 10 £20,092 – £21,322(pro rata)

Resolve West is looking to recruit a highly motivated and confident caseworker as part of our hate crime and discrimination service; with enthusiasm and energy to join our hardworking team. The successful post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills, be passionate about Conflict Resolution, and a commitment to equal opportunities legislation, and promoting these approaches in communities and neighbourhoods with those experiencing hate/discrimination.

High levels of administrative, IT, organisational and inter-personal skills are essential. The successful post holder will be able to work as part of our team and on their own initiative, have excellent communication and listening skills, putting services users at ease and deal with high levels of emotion whilst remaining calm, focussed and non-judgmental.

Excellent time management, working under pressure and to deadlines is an essential part of this role whilst being able to reflect the professionalism of our services over the telephone to callers.

This will be an office-based position during induction and initial probationary period leading to the opportunity to work remotely and office based.
