Iain joined us as a Trustee in 2023. He’s a trained lawyer with a specialism in family law, who has also worked in the non-profit advice sector – all experience that has given him insight into the value of conflict resolution and mediation in resolving disputes.

Since a move from full-time practice to being a Lecturer at the University of Law in Bristol, Iain can now dedicate more time to voluntary work. He previously served as a Trustee for a grant-making charity, advocating for free legal advice providers in the South West. He’s now thrilled to be working with us and is excited about connecting with staff and volunteers at our essential local institution.
