We are a small charity, based in the South West, committed to providing a range of restorative interventions including conflict resolution and restorative justice. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join us as the Chair of Trustees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Board of Trustees.
- Ensure the charity is effectively governed and operates within its mission and values.
- Support and guide the Director and senior management team.
- Oversee financial management and ensure the charity’s financial stability.
- Act as an ambassador for the charity, promoting its work and building relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within the voluntary sector.
- Strong understanding of governance and financial management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the principles of conflict resolution and restorative justice.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others.
