Emily joined Resolve West in 2026 having worked in the charity and not-for-profit sector for over 30 years both overseas and in the UK, based in the Southwest of England. Emily has extensive knowledge in leading charities, steering change, leveraging funding, and developing strategies and projects that support services and opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged people and communities in both Africa and the UK.

Having worked as a volunteer, trainer, project manager, supervisor, coach, and CEO, Emily is skilled in building relationships, working collaboratively and ensuring that those people who benefit from services and projects, fully participate in the direction and design of projects and strategies.

Bringing a diversity of skills working on areas of conflict on peace and reconciliation and community cohesion building, Emily is skilled at cross-sector, multi-partnership working and co-production. She is a passionate advocate for social and restorative justice and working with different people and communities to break down the barriers and repair the harms that reinforce separation and conflict in our communities.

I feel privileged to be working collaboratively across different sectors with a fabulous team of talented and dedicated staff and volunteers. We are working together to empower and support healing for people impacted by crime and conflict so that they feel safer, more in control, and more resilient in the face of an ever changing and challenging environment.
