After doing an English Literature degree, Jane completed a law conversion course and worked as a solicitor in private practice. She then took a career break to have a family – before deciding her next step would be to join the charity sector.
Jane then worked as an advocate and volunteer manager at the Witness Service before training as a restorative justice practitioner and joining our team as an RJ caseworker.
I’ve seen the positive impact restorative justice can have on all those involved. It enables those participating to play a part in repairing the harm, gives victims a voice, the chance to ask questions, explain the impact of crime, and helps find a positive way to move forward.
