Luke studied to Level 4 NVQ in supporting victims of abuse and crime. He has also gained a wealth of experience while working in victim advocacy and support with a wide range of vulnerable groups, from young people to rough sleepers.

After working as a key worker with many clients with protected characteristics, Luke decided his skills and perspective were most helpful for victims of hate crime and discrimination – and that’s when he decided to join the team at Resolve West.

As a queer person of colour, I am someone who is subjected to hate and hostility even to this day. As an active member of the queer community in this city, I do the work I do to try and make this corner of the world a safer place for myself and my peers – and offer fellow victims an understanding ear and the potential for resolution.
