Trustees for Resolve West

Do you want to make a difference to people impacted by conflict or crime?

This is a great opportunity to get involved in delivering our vital services across Avon & Somerset. Resolve West has a small staff team of 11, however has over 80 volunteers and we need new trustees to join our friendly and welcoming trustee board, to help us manage our strategic plan and work together to continue to develop our services into the future.

The free and independent support we provide helps people to resolve conflict and to repair harm caused by criminal activity.  We enable people to have a voice, to feel heard and for perpetrators to understand the impact of their actions and an opportunity to repair the harm caused so that people are able to move on from what they have experienced.  The services we provide change peoples lives, enable people to feel more confident and resilient moving forward, helps them to feel safer in their homes and communities and improves community cohesion.  We have been providing our services to individuals and communities in Bristol and the surrounding counties for over 35 years.

We would welcome people who have an interest in communities, conflict resolution and restorative justice and improving the quality of people’s lives.
